Our daylilies can be split into 3 main groups. Dwarf varieties, specialty collector varieties, and seedlings.
We grow both specialty and seedling varieties directly in the ground. These are available for sale in mid June through August.      Some varieties are grown in pots and are available anytime.

    DWARF VARIETIES
These are the repeat bloomers and classic landscape plants.
  • "Happy Returns" (golden yellow)
  • "Little Buisiness" (red w/yellow throat)
  • "Pardon Me" (red)
  • "Stella d' Oro" (bright yellow)

These have been carefully bred to combine different traits of parent plants. They are all named, registered and considered "collectors items". We have upwards of 40 different specialty varieties in beds.

Seedlings are merely specialty daylilies that have not been named and registered. Both are the product of hand-pollination of the parent plant which produces seeds which when planted may or may not produce a plant that resembles either of the donor parent plants. Each plant is unique, but each fan produced by that particular plant will be an exact replica of that plant. Seedlings are less expensive because they have not been registered, but if you wish to name and register yours, we will be glad to point you in the right direction. We have thousands of seedlings in our field beds from which you may choose to pay for during the bloom season. We dig these in late August or early September for you to take home and plant in your prepared bed.
